De Huismeester Interior

Together with the founder and great guys of 'De Huismeester'; Roel von Weiler & Chris Fok, Sikko helped develop the interior concept and arrangements of this cosy 'living-room' bar/cafe.

Setup in the iconic Meent building, grounded in the Dutch mid-20th century, many nods to the mindset, materials and style elements of that era, build up the interior and fresh, relaxing vibe.

Even though the interior spaces are not big, every nook and cranny is optimally used and packed with atmosphere. Window counters and seating provide ample views on the always busy and buzzing, popular Meent-street.

Roel and Chris made sure only Rotterdam specific and local products & ingredients are served, from their beer and gin selection to their foods.
