S079 A chair with overal understated simplicity yet with expressive accents.

Refinement in the detailing and finishing such as the rounded frame-ends, and…
for this chair we developed a special fixation that resembles a button while securing the backrest to the frame, providing a cosy, enriching and invisible means of fixation, without the oftentimes atmosphere-disruptive technical looking features such as bolt or screw-heads.

Fixation detail doodle: Instead of a technical looking (hex) screw, commonly used in fixating components to a frame, we developed a special button-screw, that combines the same functionalities but with added anti-tamper, and more expressive character. Unexpected when used in the wooden backrest variant, showing & emphasizing the softness of the upholstered version.
